March 4-7, 2020 – Rochester, NY
Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Núñez and singers from YPC will travel to Rochester, NY to participate in a major regional conference for choral directors. YPC is honored to be chosen as one of the choruses to perform in individual concert sessions, which will take place at the historic Hochstein School of Music on Friday, March 6.

On January 23, YPC represented the United States at the World Holocaust Forum 2020 at Yad Vashem, commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. This unprecedented event, entitled “Remembering the Holocaust, Fighting Antisemitism,” offered the opportunity for YPC to represent the United States in an ensemble that also included singers from France, Russia, and the U.K. The choristers sang movements from Requiems by Mozart, Karl Jenkins, and Saint-Saëns with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia conducted by renowned Maestro Vladimir Spivakov.
