Young People’s Chorus of New York City Joins JCC Thurnauer School of Music at Gift of Music Benefit Concert

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is thrilled to join our YPC National partner, the JCC Thurnauer School of Music, for the Gift of Music Benefit Concert on February 2, 2025, at 4 PM. Taking place at the Bergen County Academies Auditorium in Hackensack, New Jersey, this inspiring event will feature nearly 100 YPC choristers, over 80 Thurnauer students, and world-renowned saxophonist Steven Banks in a powerful celebration of music and community.

The concert will include the debut of Jus See, See, a newly commissioned work by YPC’s Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez, inspired by the stories and voices of Thurnauer students. Audiences will also enjoy Mi Alma en Color, a poignant piece exploring the aspirations and resilience of young people.
