COMMISSIONS + PREMIERES
Since the 1990s, the Young People’s Chorus of New York City has been at the forefront of commissioning the most distinguished and original composers of the day to write music for the distinctive quality of children’s voices. With well over 100 commissions to date, YPC is not only expanding and invigorating the repertoire for young voices, but continues to play a dynamic role in the ever-evolving fabric of music in the 21st century.
