YPC is honored to be awarded as the winners of the Best Soundtrack in the New York International Film Awards for our documentary feature film This Time Round. We are truly grateful and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in creating a memorable and impactful soundtrack for our film. YPC was also nominated as a finalist for Best Music Theme Film.
We are thrilled at the prospect of potentially being invited to the in-person screening in our very own backyard in Manhattan at the Producer’s Club, NYC. The opportunity to showcase our work in such a renowned venue would be a dream come true for us. We eagerly await further details and hope to be a part of this exciting event.
*World Premiere
YPC’s feature film premiere of “This Time Round” at the Big Apple Film Festival Screening showcased the culmination of their hard work and creativity. The film, directed by Francisco J. Núñez and Ansley Sawyer, captures the essence of the Covid-19 lockdown through the stories of young New Yorkers. The film features 15 illustrious composers who created short canons, choral songs, and rounds that could be easily sung over Zoom, reflecting the experiences and challenges faced by the youth during this time. Each story in the film represents themes of isolation, yearning, and joy, told through the perspectives of the young New Yorkers involved. It is a poignant and powerful production by the Young People’s Chorus of New York City.
