YPC’s Canada Tour

As the first stop on YPC’s 2025 Canada Tour, YPC joins with three acclaimed youth ensembles from across the globe and take the stage with a distinct program highlighting their unique sound and cultural spirit—culminating in joyful, shared performances that transcend language and geography.

YPC will then return to the International Choral Kathaumixw global choral festival held in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada as the featured guest choir. The festival brings together choirs, singers, conductors, and composers from around the world for competitions, workshops, and cultural exchange.

YPC is returning to the festival for the first time since it was named “Choir of the World” at the 2018 International Choral Kathaumix. Under the direction of Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez, YPC became the first North American choir to receive the honor at the event.
