YPC performs in the New York premiere of The Only Way is Through by GRAMMY-nominated composer Christopher Cerrone, collaborating with Sandbox Percussion. In this immersive outdoor work, Sandbox Percussion constructs their instruments from raw materials, loose wooden bars, bells, and pipes, while YPC moves among the musicians, reflecting a vocal journey from wordless sounds to fully formed language. Inspired by Robert Frost’s poetry, the piece traces the human journey of learning to exist in the world, inviting the audience to explore and experience the unfolding music throughout the Sunken Garden.
