The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is honored to lend our voices to American composer Jake Heggie’s masterpiece in its highly anticipated Metropolitan Opera premiere. The most widely performed new opera of the last 20 years, Dead Man Walking is a haunting production by Ivo van Hove, based on Sister Helen Prejean’s memoir about her fight for the soul of a condemned murderer. Don’t miss this beautiful and poignant performance.
