Acclaimed mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato brings her expressive artistry and magnetic stage presence to New York for a landmark performance. She joins Time for Three—the genre-defying trio celebrated for blending classical, folk, and pop influences—and YPC for the New York premiere of Emily—No Prisoner Be, a stunning musical journey through Emily Dickinson’s poetic world.
A multi–Grammy Award winner and one of opera’s most beloved stars, DiDonato has enchanted audiences from the world’s greatest opera houses to concert halls across the globe. Her artistry, warmth, and passion promise an unforgettable evening of music and imagination.
Under the direction of Francisco J. Núñez, YPC adds its voices to this extraordinary artistic collaboration, marking another milestone in the choir’s growing partnership with DiDonato. In 2024, YPC made its debut with the renowned mezzo-soprano at the Metropolitan Opera in Jake Heggie’s Dead Man Walking, a landmark production that introduced YPC’s young artists to one of opera’s most prestigious stages.
