The Young People’s Chorus of New York City—led by Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez, Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez, and Director of Education and Vocal Studies Shanelle Woods—was proud to host an intimate and inspiring Master Class with internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato.

This rare, behind-the-scenes experience offered YPC singers the extraordinary opportunity to work closely with one of the world’s most celebrated vocal artists. Known for her expressive artistry and deep commitment to mentorship, DiDonato guided young performers through the nuances of vocal technique, storytelling, and emotional connection—bringing music vividly to life.
