On April 18–19 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater, the Young People’s Chorus of New York City performed with legendary NEA Jazz Master Paquito D’Rivera in a dynamic program blending improvisation, multinational rhythms, and masterful orchestrations. Joined by his quintet and renowned guest artists, D’Rivera delivered an electrifying performance spanning more than 70 years of diverse works.
