YPC brought its acclaimed artistry to Spain for two extraordinary concerts uniting young voices from New York and Catalonia, October 7–13, 2025. On Thursday, October 9 at 7:00pm CEST (1:00pm EST), YPC joined Veus – Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió and the choirs of the Municipal School of Music of Llinars del Vallès for a transformative performance at the Teatre Auditori de Granollers. Veus, a premier children’s choir based in Granollers, was renowned for its high level of musicianship and artistry. On Saturday, October 11 at 6:00pm, YPC performed with the Vincles Choir of the Palau de la Música, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In addition to concert performances, YPC collaborated with Veus in the inaugural Global Teen Talk, an international youth symposium designed to amplify the perspectives of today’s young people. Through guided dialogue, YPC and Veus choristers explored issues shaping their generation, such as mental health, identity, technology, and the role of music as a force for deepening cross-cultural understanding.
The cultural exchange continued on Saturday, October 11 at 6:00pm CEST (12:00pm EST) at the world-renowned Palau de la Música Catalana, where YPC performed as part of the La Casa dels Cants concert cycle. Sharing the stage with Cors Infantil i Juvenil Palau Vincles at Petit Palau, the program highlighted the vibrant artistry and international friendship that define both ensembles.
These performances celebrated the unifying power of music to transcend borders, connect communities, and inspire the next generation of global voices.
