The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is thrilled for our second year as a designated charity partner and ready to root for you on your 13.1-mile journey.
About Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC)
YPC was founded with a mission rooted in providing children of all cultural and economic backgrounds with a unique program of music education and choral performance. Yearly, YPC serves 2,000 children from the New York Metro Area, with 85% of our participants receiving scholarships. YPC serves over 550 choristers in our after school choruses, and also extends its reach into the community by bringing music education into 20 public schools, serving 1,400 children across four boroughs. We also prioritize the development of our young artists as well rounded humans – our College Bound programming offers comprehensive academic support such as college counseling, after school tutoring, SAT and College Prep courses, and life skills classes.

As a member of Team YPC, runners must commit to fundraising a minimum of $1,500.
**Runners are also responsible for paying the Race Registration Fee directly to New York Road Runners**
